We started with a simple idea; how can we keep garages cool in summer & warm in winter?

After years of installing garage carpet across Australia, garages were quickly transformed into usable spaces however there was still one issue; the garages were unbearably hot in summer & freezing in winter. With 25+ years experience in both insulation & garage carpet, we wanted to create a product designed not just for thermal performance but simple for everyday people to install themselves. And so GaraFlex began; a family-run business created by us (Clay & Fliss).

From our very first prototype, we focused on three core principles; thermal performance, adaptability & installation simplicity. If it wasn’t easy to handle, easy to trim & easy to install, it simply wasn’t good enough.
